Happy New Year!

Welcome back to the Jiu Jitsu Calgary Newsletter.

It was great to have a couple of weeks off over Christmas and New Year and now I’m really excited to be back in full swing. There are some great classes and also additional events lined up for this New Semester.

-

#1 - Free Self Defense Book.

I have now made my Self Defense Book on Targeting and Striking available to Students and Parents, please visit my blog and download yourself a copy:

Please feel free to pass this above link on to family and friends so they can download a copy too.

The book covers many of the weak and sensitive areas around the body together with the most effective ways of accessing and striking these targets. Targeting and Striking is one of the “Essential Elements of Self Defense”. It shows people how to be effective in Self Defense, regardless of size and strength

#2 - For The Adult Students - diovan hct

Kicking Clinic

I am bringing in one of the best Kickers in the Martial Arts World, he is phenomenal. This is an event that should not be missed. He is going to share many techniques and training tips to add a new dimension to your current kicking skills.

Be warned, there are limited spaces so be sure to act quickly, you will be thrilled you did.

#3 - For The Little Samurai and Junior Students -

Movie and Fun Training Day

We need to keep the kids really motivated about attending classes so these additional events give us the opportunity to do just that.

#4 - Class Sizes

As many of you have already experienced, class sizes have grown, especially the adult classes. Do not let this be of any concern as we have so many ways to solve this minor problem with ease.

We have the available space to make more classes available and there are plans to do exactly that. We will allow the classes to settle over a couple of weeks and then make plans to deal with the situation accordingly.

#5 - Facebook

Some time ago, I created a group on facebook and you are welcome to join us there. It gives an additional opportunity to share video, comments and articles. Here is the link:
